Hastings Battleaxe has a new identity – Welcome!

This is exciting – well, for me anyway – but perhaps I need to get out more. Hastings Battleaxe has now got its own proper, grown-up website: https://www.hastingsbattleaxe.com/

What the hell is that photo above, you may ask.  It is Battleaxe and Philosopher reflected in the Winkle at Rock-A-Nore, yesterday morning….

The new site will enable me to add more pages with any old nerdy stuff I want – how about a whole page devoted to spaghetti poodles? No? OK then, perhaps not.

If you are accessing this early on Monday morning it may have a beautiful sea picture on the header at the top which, unfortunately, shows the sewage outlet on Pelham Beach – I was so thrilled by the new site that I uploaded the wrong sea view and momentarily don’t know how to get rid of it…..

Don’t worry if you still accessed this via Blogger – there is a redirect which brings you straight here.  The comments situation is different though.

It is a bright, sunny, frosty morning – the first we’ve had.  The photos on his post are from a sunny walk we had yesterday, over the East Hill down to the Jerwood to view the new exhibition – of which, more later.

It is also supposed to be Blue Monday – the most depressing day of the year. Not for Battleaxe and Philosopher – today we ‘ve got lunch at the Two Sawyers in Pett with friends, then Pilates at home, then a pub quiz down at the Stag in the Old Town.
